This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions regarding the use of personal data shared by users of the application or personal data generated during the use of the application by Pardon Mobil Teknoloji Hizmetleri A.Ş. (“Pardon”).

What Data Do We Process?

Pardon processes your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (Law), categorized as follows. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the term “personal data” within the scope of this Privacy Policy includes the information listed below.

Identity and Contact Information: First name, last name, phone number, email address.

User Information, User Transaction Information, and Financial Information: Membership information, membership ID number, dates and times you utilize Pardon services, reasons for contacting Pardon, search terms and filtering preferences used within the application, your ratings and reviews, product/service preferences, categories of restaurants visited, errors encountered during use, account and payment information.

Location Information: Specific or approximate location information such as GPS data obtained while using Pardon’s services.

Transaction Security Information: Login credentials, password information.

Marketing Information: Reports and evaluations showing your habits and preferences, targeting information, cookie records, etc.

Request/Complaint Management Information: Requests and complaints made via the application and evaluations shared within the application.

Risk Management Information: IP address.

Data anonymized under Articles 3 and 7 of the Law will not be considered personal data in accordance with the law’s provisions, and processing activities related to these data will be conducted regardless of the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Purpose of Using Your Data

The personal data you share with Pardon may be processed to:

  • Fully utilize the services provided through the mobile application.
  • Register your membership to the application and update your membership information.
  • Improve the services offered by Pardon and those provided through the application.

  • Conduct commercial activities, determine and implement commercial and business strategies.
  • Ensure the legal and commercial security of Pardon and its business partners.
  • Inform you as necessary within this context and fulfill obligations arising from these activities.

  • Legal Obligations: When necessary for Pardon to fulfill its legal obligations.

Pardon may use cookies and, within this scope, process data and share it with third parties only to the extent necessary for providing these analytics services. These technical communication files are small text files sent to the Data Subject’s browser by the application to be stored in the main memory. They store status and preference settings about an application, thereby facilitating its use. These files are designed to obtain statistical information about application usage and assist in generating dynamic advertisements and content. They are not designed to obtain any personal data beyond what is stored in the main memory. Most browsers are primarily designed to accept technical communication files.

Who Can Access Your Data?

Pardon may share your personal data and any new data obtained using this personal data with businesses such as restaurants and other enterprises to the extent necessary to provide the mentioned services. Additionally, Pardon may transfer your personal data to its shareholders, subsidiaries, legally authorized public institutions, and private legal entities. Anonymized or limited data transfers may also be made to our business partners, suppliers, and third parties, and in such cases, separate consent may be obtained.

How Long Do We Retain Your Data?

Your personal data shared with Pardon is retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy and for the statutory limitation periods specified in the relevant legislation. Additionally, your personal data may be retained limitedly in case of any dispute between you and Pardon to perform necessary defenses in the scope of the dispute.

Pardon implements appropriate technical and administrative measures, considering cost and practicality, to ensure at least the minimum level of security, including:

  • Preventing personal data from being processed unlawfully.
  • Preventing unlawful access to personal data.
  • Safeguarding the preservation of personal data.

Pardon conducts necessary audits to maintain these standards.

Furthermore, Pardon does not disclose the personal data obtained from you to anyone unlawfully or use it for purposes other than processing, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Law.

If links to other applications are provided through the application, Pardon does not bear any responsibility for the privacy policies and contents of these applications and recommends that you review them.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to comply with changing conditions and legislation.

Cookie Policy

To enable you to use our services faster and more efficiently, we store session cookies on your device. You can prevent these from being stored by changing your device settings.
